photo5Helene is working with the Inspiring Women of Southend and has been featured with them here . She is also a Mumpreneur and you can find out about her business journey here.

Originally from France, Helene left her home country in 1989 and arrived in Great Britain with two good degrees, a large suitcase and little English.

Within a few years she had set up a theatre group called Red Balloon, obtained a scholarship to study and perform at the Royal Court Young people’s theatre and she became a drama teacher in 1993. Working in a comprehensive secondary school in Essex was challenging for the little Frenchy who was still trying to come to terms with speaking the Queen’s English!

The inner and outer….what?

During this journey and since she started teaching, Helene became especially interested in the outer and inner confidence paradox. Most people appear perfectly confident to the outside world but are crippled with self-doubt, negative feelings and low self esteem. Whilst they appear to cope, they are searching for answers outside themselves whereas the answer is within themselves. They can work on re-acquainting themselves with their inner confidence including their inner child and their inner worth.

Helene is now a qualified coach with John Seymour NLP and has decide to help fully with her experience as a drama teacher and her new tools as a coach to help you to look and feel fully confident when speaking, when expressing yourself, when communicating with others.
